Faber Large Food-Safe Copying Pencil

The Faber pencil, an established and prestigious brand, is available in two colors, blue and brown, and is composed of a hexagonal shaft. Ideal for gastronomy or restaurants and equipped with a soft lead, it is also suitable for food paper. Made of FSC-certified wood, its production is zero impact.

The raw materials of the Faber tracing pencil leads are binders, food coloring, a fat/wax mixture, and additives.

The food colors are Acid Blue 9, C.I. No.: 42090 = E 133 and Food Red 17, C.I. No.: 16035 = E 129.

The raw materials of the leads (= pencil core) are food grade. Raw materials and pencils are tested for contamination, such as heavy metals. The pencils have no expiry date thanks to their composition and the raw materials used.

Faber-Castell pencils are consumables and not dangerous or chemical products. Their core complies with EU regulations 94/36/EG, VO 1935/2004, European Commission regulation 10/2011 with amendments 1183/2012, 1935 /2004 (Annex n. 4), and the Reach regulation. Faber-Castell satisfies all legal aspects concerning aromatic amines.

Faber-Castell meat marking pencils do not contain animal ingredients or alcohol. In the production facility in Stein (Germany), no animal components are processed during production. Therefore, the product should be classified as “kosher”.
