The Ovtene bag is the ideal solution to the problem that all customers face when storing cheese and many other foods in the refrigerator!

Made from a single material for the perfect preservation of cheese in wedges or grated, as well as for many other foods such as cold cuts, bread, vegetables, fruits, baked goods, fish, and meat.

Developed in collaboration with the University of Food Science and Technology in Udine, it has been validated and improved by institutions such as the Polytechnic University of Milan, CNR in Naples, UCC Cork (Ireland), the University of Catanzaro, and the University of Bologna (Cesena branch).

The Ovtene food bag primarily comprises calcium carbonate (CaCO³), the same material as eggshells. It allows the exchange of dry air, enabling the product inside to breathe, controlling bacterial proliferation that causes mold, and significantly extending the shelf life while preserving taste and organoleptic properties.

It is 100% recyclable.

Economical, versatile, sturdy, and washable, it can be reused multiple times. It is a valid alternative to vacuum-sealed bags for short-distance transportation and an optimal solution for customers to store food in the refrigerator.
